Brendan trained in soundproofing techniques from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS), has remodeled Fidelity Unlimited, and other recording studios in Portland.
Homeowners have consulted Brendan to quell traffic noise, footsteps from upstair units, basement drum sessions, and many other sounds.
Rockstar Remodel follows the Home Recording Studio: Build it Like the Pros Book by Rod Gervais. We use a 2 leaf system, where there is an inside layer that’s airtight, and an outside layer that’s airtight, with insulation in between, trapping and stoping the air movement.
